Fantastic read
Excellent review of Jewish history in the last 200 years and how it relates to modern day Jewish attitudes. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is interested in understanding the politics of American Jews and how it developed especially in relationship to Israel.

Rich information
Everyone seems to have an opinion on Israel, yet few have a thorough understanding of it. This book, with its accessible writing and rich information, is something I wish could be shared across our school systems. There's so much to learn from its clear and detailed exploration of the topic.

Comprehensive review of this complex relationship
Very interesting subject matter that perplexed me for so long. Why do American Jews behave and vote in the manner that they do. This book has answered many of my questions. Highly recommended

Great book, I strongly recommend it
This is a wonderful book that deals with the politics of American Jews and Israel. I read the whole book in one day. The authors deal with complex issues and make it easy for the readers to understand with great historical evidence and relevant statistics.

Quick and great read
I have been studying where all the anti semitism "Jew Hatred" and the anti zionism moment have been coming from for the last 4-5 years. This books combines so many reasons how we got to where we are in 2024 which is a scary place. Great, quick read and will give you so much background information.

A clear explanation
A must-read book for anyone who wants to get a clear explanation of the many tensions between American Jews and the state of Israel. I honestly was not aware of these tensions before reading this book. Fascinating stuff.

The first part of the book was more historical. The second part of the book dealt with religion and politics. This book will teach you much about Israel and its history.
